OSHA 10

The following shall be covered in the OSHA 10 class:

Introduction to OSHA

Fall Protection

Personal Protective Equipment

Hand and Power Tools

Excavations

Cranes

Scaffolds

Stairs and Ladders

Electrical Safety

Material Handling

 

This is a 10-hour training course. The OSHA 10 course provides an excellent safety overview to workers that work or would like to work in the construction trades. Many companies and government agencies are requiring workers to have this important training to be able to work at their jobsites. Students completing this training shall receive a wallet card issued from OSHA showing they have completed the OSHA 10 training.

 

OSHA 30

The following shall be covered in the OSHA 30 class:

Introduction to OSHA

Fall Protection

Personal Protective Equipment

Hand and Power Tools

Excavations

Cranes

Scaffolds

Stairs and Ladders

Electrical Safety

Material Handling

Confined Spaces

Asbestos Awareness

Lead Awareness

Crisis Management

Accident Investigation

 

This is a 30-hour course that covers extensive and detailed information on the above topics. While many of the course titles are the same as in OSHA 10, the courses have been expanded to cover broader subject matter. Upon successful completion students shall receive a wallet card issued from OSHA showing they have completed the OSHA 30 training. Many companies and government agencies require this training before allowing companies or workers to work at their jobsites.
